Here’s an indoor overlay concrete job we did out in Pelzer, SC. These earth tone colors with the high gloss concrete floor coating requested gives the appearance and feel of a real marble like surface. With two coats of sealer used we can ensure this interior surface shouldn't need to be resealed in less than 10 years, even with a high amount of traffic. Like always we guarantee the first 5 years under warranty for all overlay on outdoor and indoor flooring.
We created a design with 36 x 36 tile simulation with our overlay concrete material matching the customers specific color request. This same project would have cost the customer an unreasonable amount to try and find the exact matching tile and size, not to mention the cost of installation. As you can see from the picture the flooring turned out beautiful and matched the color the customer desired
As you can see in the pictures the detail in the texture and color is phenomenal!! Highlighting again our attention to detail!
With a breathtaking view of the Table Rock we completed this overlay pool deck project in Dacusville, South Carolina. As you can see from the picture the flag stone simulation we created in this job came out great. This job features a common occurrence that we have when doing overlay concrete on pool decks, driveways, and any concrete older than 3 years, cracks in the concrete. We are experts at providing the best solution to fix your cracked foundation.
Everyone wants to know how to repair cracks in their concrete quickly and in the most economical way. We provide cracked concrete solutions for all of our customers that gives them the most affordable way to approach this unfortunate circumstance.
A common misnomer about cracked concrete is that you can apply crack filler or some type of concrete sealer and simply cover up the concrete with more concrete. You should never try cover the crack with a solid material. Everybody thinks you just put some mud on a crack and patch it, but by doing that you are going to make it worse even quicker, and you are going to have to patch it for the rest of the concretes life very frequently, maybe even every month. The crack is going to come back and it will cause anything you put on top of it to chip.
We suggest that instead of covering the crack lets incorporate it in the pattern to make it look like it’s a part of the design. In the picture you can see the technique that we used that offers the best solution for cracks in concrete. After we have applied our cracked concrete solution for the concrete surface, the existing crack will be nearly invisible to anyone who has never seen the pool deck before. Then along with the beautiful design the pool deck, we used cool deck material to resurface the pool deck which ensures the surface will not be as hot to the touch as a normal concrete surface on those hot summer days. At the completion of the job this customer, as all of our customers, received a 5 year warranty included in our contract.
Imagine yourself about to leave from home and its pouring down rain outside. You pull out from under your garage and attempt to go up your concrete driveway and all of sudden you begin to slide back down the hill. You begin to hear your wheels skidding in place and you give it a little gas, but you are getting little traction. What could be causing this dangerous incident that you have never experienced before, even in weather like this?
This was our clients unfortunate scenario from another concrete contractors work. Unique Concrete Design LLP was called in by this client in order to address this problem that needed an immediate solution. We completed this beautiful driveway
in the Cliffs and included the necessary prep work and detailed finish that addressed the problem our client was having. We used our spray coat design adding a layer of concrete material that is mixed polymer and acrylic that provide more than enough texture to give traction for any vehicle to safely go up and down this incline.
Along with this we did a two tone design with a flag stone border at the front of the concrete driveway. We used forest green colors with a touch of reddish brown that reflect the beautiful scenery that makes this home so attractive. As always this job gets the 5 year warranty standard with most of our jobs, but with our attention
to detail this job will last well past 5 years into the lifetime of the property.
Have you ever said to yourself, I wonder what our back patio would look like if we made it a little bit bigger? I wonder what kind of parties or gatherings could we have in our yard?
Well that’s exactly what this customer said out in Mauldin, South Carolina. They had an existing concrete patio where they did some events and had people out on their backyard, but wanted to know what someone could design. The imagined a bigger patio that could host many more gatherings would look like. We took this idea and came up with a design that extended the existing 12’ x 12’ concrete patio in the backyard across the entire back of the house. This would make the space a lot more usable to the needs of the owners.
To do this we poured concrete in a frame that would give the design some style by curving the corners and adding some nuances that wouldn’t make the backyard patio simply look bigger. Before pouring though, we added some extra support to the concrete which included footings and rebar in case the customer or future owner decides to put something like a cover or roof on top of the patio. We also added a French drain around the patio’s edge in order to avoid the type of red dirt build up on the patio that is so tiresome to clean every time it rains in the yard.
As you can see the design we came up with and the colors the customer chose make this back patio look like it came with the house! The flag stone simulation with the blue gray colors creates a very natural feel to this yard.
